The ActionPoint App

The ActionPoint app is designed to help families build stronger communication skills, set healthy boundaries for social media use, identify instances of cyberbullying and a teen's cyberbullying risk, and, ultimately, decrease the negative outcomes associated with cyberbullying. The following articles and publications provide empirical findings and other background information from research within the psychology field that shaped the design of the ActionPoint app modules. This Data Privacy Disclaimer explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use the app. Emails and usernames are used solely for the purpose of linking parents' and teens' accounts together within the app. We may collect data on how you interact with our app, such as the features you use and the frequency of your interactions. This information is used to improve functionality and user experience of our app. The collected information may also be shared in aggregated form and without any personal identifying information to report the results of our research project. We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
